Welcome​
The first plane to land in Ballyboy was a Piper Cub J5A in 1994, landing on a grass runway cut between two fields on the Cullen family farm. The airfield has since become one of the best recognised in Ireland.

Athboy Airfield (Ballyboy) is licensed by the Aeronautical Services Department of the Irish Aviation Authority. It has 600m Tarmac and 540m Grass runways, hangarage and Avgas and Jet A-1 fuel available.
